Consecration Icecafe

From Episode XXVII: Nasso with Rabbi Jan Katzew and Rachel See:

For this Israeli-inspired summer spiked frozen coffee, start with 2 tbsp instant coffee with 1 ½ cups water. Stir that up, pour it into an ice tray and freeze.

In a blender, put in 4-5 coffee ice cubes, 1 ½ oz milk, ¾ oz simple syrup, and 1 ½ oz Baileys Irish Cream. Blend to your desired consistency, pour it into the vessel of your choosing, top with whipped cream and shaved dark chocolate (or dirt if you think your wife is having an affair).

For a non-alcoholic version, omit the shot of Bailey’s and use ⅓ cup milk.

You can, of course, use almond, oat, soy, or any other milk for a vegan treat.

Celebrate the summer and sacred space in style with this drink that’ll take you right back to the beaches of Tel Aviv!
